Specially prepared for discipling new believers, ‘Go, Make Disciples’ is a series of 22 thematic studies combining elements of the chronological approach and inductive Bible study (190 pages). (This course is only in English and Arabic.)
This book will help new believers progress as disciples, step by step, once they have confessed Christ as their Saviour.
But books do not make disciples. Only disciples can make disciples. The new believers need more than this book. They need a guide—a spiritual guide. Jesus was the spiritual guide of the 12 disciples. Moses was a guide to Joshua. Elijah was a guide to Elisha. Paul was a mentor to Timothy.
‘Go, Make Disciples’ can be helpful for someone studying the course on their own. However, it will be most beneficial to new believers if they seek out someone older and wiser, someone they respect, to go through this book together.
If possible, the course should be used in a group setting. A group of five is ideal. Each lesson should take about a week if the group members are able to work on it for one half hour a day and meet once a week to work through the lessons and to talk over the things everyone is learning.
So, let us press on. There is much to do, much to be.
The only limitation is our own unwillingness to embrace the cross and follow Him.
