The Level 2 Certificate of Ministry<\/strong> program offers Bible-based advanced discipleship and ministry training.<\/p>\n

Two possible study tracks<\/strong><\/h4>\n

1) The Diploma of Biblical Studies<\/strong> program is intended for those who have completed basic discipleship program (Progressing Together Level 1 or equivalent) and who wish to deepen their knowledge of God and His Word.<\/p>\n

2) The Certificate of Preparation for Christian Service<\/strong> program is intended for those who are preparing to serve in their church as small group leaders, teachers or elders. The Certificate program, together with the L1 programme, is roughly equivalent to one year of study at a Bible college or institute.<\/p>\n

Progressing Together Level 2<\/strong> is divided into 11 course modules: 10 core courses + 1 ministry elective. Each course represents 60-90 hours of study, class-time and practical ministry activities and finishes with an exam. Students can complete the program through part-time study in 3-4 years while engaged in work and\/or ministry activity or through one year of full-time study. \u00a0A\u00a0certificate of study is offered upon completion of the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

During the course of their studies, the students will be trained in four areas: Bible, Doctrine, Practical Christian life and the Church, as well as a practical ministry skill. There are generally 9 lessons allocated to each course.<\/p>\n

The courses are designed for use in group study: each participant prepares a lesson – taking 2\u00bd to 8 hours according to the lesson activities – before the group meets together with a leader to discuss their answers and pray together.
