It presents the essentials of Christian doctrine and church life simply and systematically, with references and study questions. As such it forms a mini-handbook. It is intended for new and older believers, but it can also be used evangelistically for anyone really wanting to know what Christians believe.<\/p>\n<p>Where there are differences among Christians on secondary issues (e.g. baptism), these are explained, and an attempt is made to be firm on the essentials, and only the essentials.<\/p>\n<p>The first part of the &#8216;Guide&#8217; &#8211; &#8216;The Faith of Evangelical Churches&#8217; \u2013 forms the basis of our course <a href=\"https:\/\/www.progressingtogether.com\/shi\/our_programs\/level-2\/overview-of-doctrine-doct201\/\">DOCT201<\/a>. The material in the second part &#8211; &#8216;The Life of Evangelical Churches&#8217; \u2013 is covered in our course <a href=\"https:\/\/www.progressingtogether.com\/shi\/our_programs\/level-2\/the-life-of-the-church-egli201\/\">EGLI201<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The manual is available in a downloadable A4 format in French only.
