Creation, the Fall and the Promise of Salvation<\/h2>\n

We highly recommend beginning the program with <\/i>BIBL201<\/a>. The historical section (<\/i>BIBL202<\/a>–BIBL203<\/a>–BIBL204<\/a>) should then be studied in chronological order. The student will progressively come to see how God developed the plan of salvation throughout history. At the same time, each course should build on the foundation of the previous one(s) and prepare the student for the following one(s).<\/i><\/p>\n

The student will use the basic principles of Bible study already introduced in <\/em>BIBL201<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

The student should read the entire book of Genesis in advance.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Course Objective<\/h3>\n

To introduce elders, discipleship group leaders and church planters to the story of the human fall and an overview of God’s plan of redemption through a study of the book of Genesis as an aid to understanding the rest of the scriptures. Indeed, the book of Genesis contains crucial theological concepts for new believers in our context.<\/p>\n

Course Description<\/h3>\n

This course begins by exploring the nature of Scripture and revelation; it reviews the creation of the universe, the curse that fell on Adam through the fall, the way in which sin led to the flood, the nature of God\u2019s covenant relationship with Abraham and the Patriarchs through their time in Egypt.<\/p>\n
